Morning Walk at Pier 15 NYC
Pier 15 NYC marked the start of my final day exploring the city. My Wall Street visit and walk along the East River Bikeway quickly followed. Pier 15 NYC offered incredible views, making it worth the early start. From this spot, I could clearly see the Brooklyn Bridge and skyline.
The East River Bikeway sits near Pier 15 NYC, so I took advantage of its proximity. My Wall Street visit began after taking a few scenic photos along the river. Before heading into the heart of financial landmarks, the quiet morning at the East River Bikeway was refreshing.
Wall Street Visit
Next, my Wall Street visit took me straight to the iconic Charging Bull. Tourists surrounded it, which made capturing a clear photo challenging. My Wall Street visit continued quickly because of the crowd. Instead, souvenir shopping nearby became my next stop.
Afterward, I approached the New York Stock Exchange. Its size impressed me, yet fitting it into one picture was tough. I stood far back, pressed against another building, trying to capture it fully.
Lunch at Underdog, Hanover Square
Lunch brought me to Underdog in Hanover Square. Knowing this could be my only meal before flying home, I ordered a huge burger. It filled me up and prepared me for the travel ahead.
Post-lunch, returning to Pier 15 NYC seemed perfect. The weather was nice, and I wanted one last view from the second-level deck. This spot is ideal for stunning pictures and enjoying NYC's waterfront charm.
Final Moments at East River Bikeway
Returning briefly to the East River Bikeway allowed me a final moment to soak in New York’s beauty. I snapped a few extra photos, aware that time was running short. This peaceful walk marked the end of my brief but memorable NYC journey.
As departure time neared, I grabbed my bags and hopped into another Uber. I lost count earlier, but this was roughly my 35th ride. The journey to Newark Airport took a while, but my NYC memories made it pass quickly.
Traveling Home
Newark Airport marked the first stop on my journey home. Later, I arrived at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Surprisingly quiet, it felt deserted late at night. Burger King was the only open spot, so a quick meal there was necessary.
Finally, I boarded the plane back to Houston, reflecting on the adventure. My first NYC visit left many bucket list items unchecked, so returning soon is a must. Subscribe to my YouTube Channel for more adventures coming soon!
