Exploring Staten Island & Tribeca Film Festival
Exploring Staten Island began with a ride on the Staten Island Ferry, even though the weather was less than perfect. Taking the Staten Island Ferry offered great views despite cloudy skies. Afterward, I headed to the Tribeca Film Festival to enjoy some short films. This made for an unforgettable NYC weekend adventure.
Boarding the Staten Island Ferry
My morning started with a short walk to the Staten Island Ferry. Rainy weather made it tough to film clearly, especially the Statue of Liberty. Even with the fog, the ferry provided beautiful scenery. Exploring Staten Island became a quick round-trip because there wasn't much happening that day.
Though brief, my Staten Island Ferry ride was relaxing. I'll definitely try visiting again on a clearer day. After just two minutes on the island, we quickly returned to Manhattan for lunch.
Enjoying Lunch and Resting Up
Back in Manhattan, pizza was the ideal lunch choice. After eating, we returned to our room to relax. This downtime helped recharge our energy before heading to the Tribeca Film Festival later in the afternoon.
Soon, we met up with friends and grabbed an Uber to the festival. Excitement built as we prepared for an evening full of movies. Tribeca Film Festival promised engaging entertainment.
Tribeca Film Festival Highlights
At the Tribeca Film Festival, I watched around five short films back-to-back. Each film told a unique story and held my interest completely. The festival atmosphere added to the fun, making it a memorable part of my NYC weekend.
Tribeca Film Festival also gave me ideas for future projects. Watching these short films provided new inspiration and motivation. I highly recommend attending the festival when visiting New York.
Dinner and Night Activities
Following the festival, our group went back to the apartment to change clothes. We then headed out for dinner, enjoying delicious food and great company. After dinner, our group split into two for evening activities.
One half of our friends went out for drinks, while the others explored Times Square and Grand Central Station. Want to know which group I chose? Watch my next VLOG to find out. Don’t forget to subscribe for more NYC adventures!
